I think the only strategy with this box is "If we don't have something for the living room, Game Pass is cooked".
I truly think they want out of hardware completely but too many of their Game Pass subscribers are only on console (and anybody who has ever floated the idea of GP on PS is dreaming).
I think it’s been nearly a decade at this point since I used public voice chat in a game. I just don’t have the patience for dealing with that anymore.
I had a series of calls last fall with a client that was using Teams and went through that exact issue almost every time. It was infuriating!
And half the time when I tried not logging in and joining as guest, it would then prompt me to login again and I'd have to go through the entire cycle again.
It is me, one of the people who had the same idea as you. I was waiting for my Superstation to get here before stocking up on PS1 ROMs, but now I can’t wait any longer.

Rainbow Six Siege is another one that was kind of a failure at launch but they kept supporting it and turned it into something that's still (as far as I know) going strong over 10 years later.

I do think 3 is the pinnacle but every game in the series is excellent (except for the DS one that almost nobody seems to know existed).

Nope. Revenge and Paradise got made backwards compatible on the XB1/X|S but the most modern thing 3 was officially supported on was the 360.

I bought a used 360 copy of that a few years ago. It had issues even booting because of the servers being down. From what I later found out, you can get around that by disconnecting your console from the internet but I still haven't gone back to actually try doing that.
That's kind of how I felt when I first heard about this a few weeks ago. Seems like an interesting idea but $60 feels like a big ask. I'll at least keep it on my wishlist for future sale consideration, especially if they keep updating it.

They're not involved with WWE anymore (because of the accusations against Vince), but they sold it to the company that bought UFC so as you can guess from that fact alone, WWE as a company is as pro-Trump as ever.
Nah, even WWE's fan base has traditionally been more left leaning than the average, especially pre-AEW (it still is, but less so now: www.sportico.com/leagues/golf...).
It's why WWE never really acknowledged Trump at all during his first term despite him being in their Hall of Fame.

I haven't watched UFC in years so I can't speak to it first hand but here in Canada, it looks like they still want $70 each to watch those shows on PPV, so I'm sure that's become a wonderful viewing experience.
When that day comes, I will 100% be there to read/listen to those words. I played the hell out of that game as a kid.

I'm almost 40 and I've encountered exactly one rotary phone in my life and it was at my grandparents' house when I was *very* young.
Some of the skills that dude listed, while not a necessity these days, can be handy to know but dialing a rotary phone? nobody needs to know that in 2026.
I've got too much of a library built up to sell it but I've pretty much hit the "I'm not investing more in this library" point.
