the problem with tackling "wasteful government bureaucracy" is it's like deleting files from your computer called hostserver.dll that look useless and take up a lot of space and then your computer stops working
Everything is feedback, but the worst scenario here is a half-hearted tit-for-tat, where the protests and suppression ramp each other up inexorably, in an arms race. We need to become an immovable object, before they become an unstoppable force.
I've been lurking here for a whole hour now, and what I've learned is that the levels of snark, tribalism and psychopathy are higher here by ten whole IQ points.
