This is a real pivot point to change the govt - recent announcements by National around LNG and removing clean car regulations are shown up for how incredibly short sighted & dangerous they are. I find it interesting that the politicians in question have gone from waving off bad poll results with a 'we don't pay much attention to polls" or "the only poll that counts is election day" - to this. Seems they really are spooked, and that is likely to be what their internal polling is showing.

This would *significantly* set these kids back from being able to enter the modern workforce, not to mention kneecap their online security/anti-scam education, and devastate a significant number of kids through social isolation. Especially at-risk kids. Cascading generational damage.
