*Well, if you're Viktor Orban, how come you can't just rob the bank
*That'll teach those pesky Ukrainians

I take it the Clorex site can't find you a local stockist?
Fair enough. I did see that while hunting, but I think on a UK site
I donβt know if youβve seen this - apologies if you have - but this put me in mind of this other, also pitch perfect, bit of Discworld fiction regarding Sir Samuel Vimes β¦ archiveofourown.org/works/244534
My kid was obsessed with trains when she was small. She'd memorized the London tube map by the end of kindergarten
We used to go on train days, where we just travelled around the zones covered by my ticket. These days, trains are old hat, but she can still navigate any train system like a local
Sorry, I am a sucker for internet quests for products I don't know
Divorced dads who post questions like that are almost certainly expecting girlfriends to navigate all that on their behalf, and putting the girlfriend's needs last
So yeah, there's baggage and women will nope out fast if they find themselves dealing with it
Plus the relationship between him and his ex wife and her family is likely to be difficult, and the kids will feel conflicted no matter how it plays out. And if he is a widower, there will be different kinds of comparisons between the first wife and any new partner
But I also need to test the new thing
Well, kinda. Irritatingly, the new publishing system uses content controls and other things that didn't exist in Word when I first recorded this. I don't know if it's connected but it gets stroppy about highlights now. I might just break it into two and rerecord the damn thing
Also, the longevity/instability of Tory governments means that they have probably appointed a lot of the current lords, and that needs addressing
Currently, we are spending weeks and weeks vibe coding a replacement to a search and replace macro I recorded in 20 min in about 2006 and had been updating ever since
I'm required to find uses for it at work. So far, I have yet to find any way that it helps anyone with anything they are capable of doing. It you are not capable of doing something, it gets you something about 20% short of Actually Useful and someone who capable has to finish it anyway
80s singer Thomas Dolby on raising queer kids: "the eldest is trans, the middle is a lesbian, and the youngest is a drummer"
The 3 genders
If I cooked them together for the right period, hers would be hard-boiled egg texture and mine would have slightly runny yolks
My kid decided at one point that she liked eggs, but not the yolk. So, for a short, glorious period, I would crack two eggs into poachpods, use a spoon to scoop out the yolk from kiddos, and put it into mine, giving me double yolk eggs on toast for breakfast
Then she went off them again #ADHDlife
Sounds about right. And also, if you want to eat fried egg on toast, it's very easy to eat it *on* the bread, thank you
If you want something called eggy bread, that's French toast and is actually easy for a beginner
There is a form of baked eggs cooked in a hole cut in bread, which I never made but saw in a student cookbook. But that basically looked like a fried egg
The scrambled egg thing, I got nothing
Apart from everything else wrong with this, the entire point of a tldr is that it is one sentence long
I'm in this picture and I don't like it π
Most predictable development evah
Can you imagine getting assigned this guy as your supervisor and then reading that?
I'm not convinced he learned much in the 3.5 years he spent on his actual PhD
I mean, I would expect him to read papers before he wrote his own, and to have read at least some of them before he started doing the experiments
I have not done a PhD but isn't the point to work on something new?
I reckon he was going to say building content or some other horror

Enjoy a full minute of beavers being released into the wild in Cornwall. These little fluffbutts are the first to swim in these waters in a very, very long time - the last official records of beavers in the wild in England are from the 1300s. BBC buff.ly/BnMwCOx

Good news, Oprah wrote a book called Book
So in theory they could produce that for you. In practice, it came out over 20 years ago, so I assume it is now out of print
Ironic, isn't it? Every other part of the NHS is having private providers rammed down their throats, but here they want to ban it
