I disagree - strategically they need to cater to indies because they want students and hobbyists using Unity so they can be the people making bigger games in Unity as they grow in their careers. Same reason Photoshop had (has?) an academic discount.

StS1 is made in⦠Java. 2 was going to be unity but they publicly announced they were switching.
If you include an intermission so I can pee then no itβs not too long
My wife even called a mistake one of the characters made on the show right when she made it and was proven right a few minutes later when the patient nearly died and all the other characters scolded her for it. Hah!
Really impressed with The Pitt. It's accurate enough to actually be educational about the process and logistics of the ER, the patients and treatments, even the personality types of the doctors who thrive at the ER. Source: My wife, with 20-ish years of hospital experience.
Another tamale will help with that
Impossible
My dad taught band classes for decades, and had to fight for full-time status and benefits. Still, he had to play gigs and teach private lessons to make ends meet. Constantly.
Started watching The Pitt with my wife (a medical professional) last night. She was blown away by the realism and trying to call the meds and diagnoses, and I felt mildly sick a few times. 10/10, will continue watching.

Just rolled credits on Doom: The Dark Ages. Incredible. Everything that bothered me about Eternal, it fixes. An absolute blast once you get the basic mechanics down, and even manages to get closer to Doom 2's level design creativity than any other modern Doom with secrets and puzzles... and chaos.
Trying to think of some I didnβt already see listedβ¦
Jon Hamm
Jim Carrey
Bryan Cranston
Donald Glover
Kumail Nanjiani
Yvette Nicole Brown
Lizzo

Cardi B

Bill Hader
Fortune Feimster
Thatβs enough for now.

Yeahβ¦ itβs definitely a movie that is hurt by knowing it was nominated. Itβs technically amazing but the character work feels a little underbaked. Itβs good, maybe great as an action movie, but itβs not best picture material.
Totally agree. If the film industry is any indication, these things go in cycles. The big players inevitably start to fall apart when they get too big and fail to adapt, and weird indies pick up the slack. For the film industry, it wasn't until Jaws and Star Wars that the big money really came back.
