hmm yeah this could work! I tried having a kind of wallpaper of semi-opaque trees but couldn't make it look natural, but maybe small twinkling stars could be enough

I am a sucker for "world map" style screens in classic snes/genesis games so decided to put this as the in-between-levels transition screen. Haven't decided what to do about the black background yet...

Patching the "last" (famous last words) major game design flaw in Save the Forest, the cheesy "heal fully before moving on"-strategy.

Now healers can only heal damage accrued in the last 2 turns, so healers should hopefully feel more dynamic and less cheesy!

I think this is very true, although personally I couldn't summon the willpower to build anything bigger until I decided to not use a full fledged engine - but go code first with monogame instead.
