Yes, need sone more cycle space there as the road narrowing doesn’t do anything for pedestrians either. It could definitely do with a resurfacing.

Borough High Street in London busy with cyclists this morning
That definitely the wrong way up a one way street (Finch lane off Threadneedle Street). I could hear plenty of horns as they met a van coming the other way.
Blackfriars bridge cycle lane this morning. Just to think, 10 years ago this was a dangerous and unpleasant place to cycle across.
Needs TfL to manage all London bridges (bar the four managed by the bridge trust fund) and have a maintenance fund paid by tolls ideally as part of a London smart road pricing).

Firing points at 2Km and 4km?
I had to check by zooming in on streetview as I wasn’t 100% sure
At the very start. It becomes Bishopsgate after the first junction.
Was damper on the way home
Good morning London (Bishopsgate in the City of London)
Busy on a damp morning along cycle lane CS3 in London today
Busy cycle lanes around Parliament square this morning in London
Have had the probably not very profound realisation that the UK has adopted the endless bureaucratic hurdles to change usually seen in corrupt countries – consultations, inquiries, judicial reviews, committees – which exist in those systems almost entirely to facilitate bribes. (1/2)
Good morning London (on the Embankment cycle lane)
Cycle lane northbound from Blackfriars bridge

'No one cycles in rain/winter' - strangely not something usual anti-cycling suspects say in London these days. 08:52, heavy rain, C6 shot from Holborn Viaduct. More cycles than track can cope with & than motor vehicles. Yet we still are struggling to get enough capacity. @londoncycling.bsky.social

Incredible NIMBYism when a development of a brownfield site in London bordered by a canal and a rail line (the type everyone says should be developed first) is opposed for overshadowing a cemetery (whose residents I presume didn’t object themselves):

Has a bit of a corporate wellness centre vibe about it (couldn't quite keep to smooth lines and looks like someone added some flats on the right hand side).
Good summary if the UKs failure to fund infrastructure properly for year at a time when motor traffic volumes and car weights have increased. Currently roads tolls seem to not be politically palatable so no solution in the near term:
