Utilise Signal. Use VPNs at ALL TIMES. Use Tor through a VPN when it is critically important what you search for or read is not linked back to you. Never have your browser save your information. Use the bare minimum plugins.
Torrent is your friend when downloads become impossible.
Utilise volatile or non persistent operating systems, portable if possible, to minimise the risk of there being evidence of searches and Internet history.
I recommend Tails, or Possibly QubesOS.
Burn all documentation in your possession that could be used as evidence of being Queer.
Device destruction should be quick and total. Laptops and desktops can be wiped by a large neodymium magnets, keep them nearby. Phones can be destroyed by piercing the battery and compressing it to explode the device.
