I’ve been thinking about how data, at its core, is art. Nature informs us through our senses, which then color our reality. How a sunset sky reveals the molecules in the atmosphere, or how the sonics from instruments alter our bioelectrical brainwave activity.

New finds 🤓

still need time to process, but this is one of the best films I’ve ever seen. Might be top 5, right there next to Interstellar and Finding Nemo. Every song had purpose. Every character was intriguing. Every shot was beautiful. This is why I love movies.

There’s not enough YA sci-fi on the market these days, so I’m grateful to have found this book. It’s also being adapted into a movie starring Daniel Kaluuya, which is just epic af.

My biggest life trials always come back to letting go of assumptions I made of myself when I was a kid—crucial armor for my own protection. I may be stronger now, but the weight is slowing me down on this next arc…talk about a journey 😅

If you’re into creating, whether just for a hobby or making a career out of it, I highly suggest this book. A Creative Act has given me a new perspective on how I write and make music. I’ll share some of its lessons over time, but today let’s talk about distractions.

S/O booktok for another solid rec  Shigidi is a mythic tale of disgruntled deities, revenge, and a heist across two worlds. This definitely was a global adventure that was more intriguing with every page. Trigger warning: this book has themes of SA.
