Thinking about it, there's an argument to be made that Banjo-Kazooie might have actually *been* the best 3D video game to that point, in terms of designing for the perspective, taking advantage of its pros, and mitigating its cons.

Well, the only other one by *that* team was Tooie, and I think Tooie is pretty great if you're a sicko!

But it did attempt to push the N64 hardware well past its breaking point, *and* at a time when the DC and PS2 were already out and doing that wouldn't be as impressive.

Birdetta "Birdo" Catherine Birdo the Birdo, drawn digitally in a pencil-sketch style. Birdo again. She scribbled in an inky style, slouched, with her arms resting out in front of her, knees bent into a slight squat. She looks like she's had a rough time, her iconic bow "deflated" behind her head. Her snout is drooping. Her eyes are narrowed. She looks kind of awful. Who fucking did this to her. The world? Must we fight the world?

Birdo stands there with those adorable eyes of hers, nearly cross-eyed, arms held at her sides. She's got shorts on, with a tank-top, posing in such a fashion that shows her big round ol' belly. You could beat that thing like a drum and it'd probably echo like a melon. As if in spite of this fact, she is very much flat-chested. "bwaaoo-Woh!" she says. Descriptive text reads: (pronounced like the SMW level-end sound-effect where the circle closes in on mario)
