I've actually realized one of my Toronto neighbourhood Green P or some such parking garages has a big heated driveway. It's definitely possible and happening on more than just small private parking spots. Great idea in my books!
Wednesday morning. The city does city things, while we continue living our little lives in it.
*insert spiderman pointing gif* Truly. What are we doing. I just came back from a month long trip to Poland where not once was a streetcar delayed or a line of them bunched. These things really are possible but for some reason not in Toronto...??
What in the woooorrrlld.
Basic process breakdown: I block in the BG elements into vector shapes. After I build all the shapes, it leaves me with this weird colorful mosaic of pieces. Then I can select each piece and color it. Its kind of like Paint-By-Numbers. This only really works with a blocky shape style.
I recommend this bit of Hinton's visit to University of Toronto, where his previous employee from Google, Nick Frosst(co-owner of Cohere), spends abt 40 mins completely disagreeing with him on everything on stage.(timestamped) youtu.be/S4Tz7d0QOeE?...

Councillors Bradford's dramatic word choices, makes me think he's recently seen either Frankenstein or Nosferatu.
Same reason why a lot of storefronts downtown toronto continue being shuttered post pandemic. It's "better" from the landlords perspective to keep the rent on offer high to retain the buildings "value". Than to lower the rent and have a business move in. Hoarding mentality. Smh.
With the amount of props mr. Holyday always brings, I'm surprised he hasn't brought an array of trinkets to show council of all the useless/awful things these stores could sell. Were there no pebbles or pieces of paper on his way to work he could have picked up for this impromptu display?
