I think there's a case for registering staff interests, so individual cases can be investigated if necessary. I don't think there's a case for publishing the full register, any more than any other public servant.

100% This was the other reason the "bring a potato dressed as..." worked so much better. Suddenly Aslan was effortless! Why stop at Alice, when it's even easier to do a Mock Turtle? No limits on what coloured clothes you happened to own or if you can reasonably walk to school wearing it.

You've got some great street art. I liked this one, it almost made up for the promising looking footbridge doing a massive detour before dumping me under a motorway.

Best WBD year at kid's primary was "bring a potato dressed as..." No ASDA or online bought tat, no literally Frozen princesses (March weather is not usually as kind as this year!), less embarrassment because home is too stressed to hack it. And much easier to do animal or fantasy characters.

In the MPs cloakroom in the HoC there are (were?) little pink ribbons hanging from each peg, said to be for leaving one's sword, which one is not permitted to carry into the Chamber. In latter days they mostly hold umbrellas.

A karst burst is the extreme, rapid response of a karst system to intense or prolonged rainfall.

When the system becomes saturated, the increase in water pressure can cause groundwater levels to rise above ground level, leading to flash floods, sinkholes and hydroseismic activity.

Thanks for getting it back up! Is there a system for resilience if one of the PDSs gets taken out completely? Presumably they are pretty internally resilient already as this is rare. But if one is destroyed, what happens to those accounts? Can another PDS pick up?

Seems a bit of a cop-out to stop using it. Can't they learn from cricket and stick the remains in an urn? Or just spruce it up, you'd think having survived a fire would give it more gravitas not less.
