I'm so proud of the progress I've made towards getting over my fear of spiders.

A daddy long legs got trapped in my tub this morning. They can't survive the cold. So, I removed him from the tub and placed him in one of my house plants. That would have been absolutely unthinkable two years ago.

I was sent one once that had a red scare era loyalty oath asking me to pledge that I'm not a subversive. So, there's that reason.

But, yeah, the other, obvious reason that everyone is thinking of is the one that's relevant to the current national discussion.

This about sums it up. Spent an ungodly amount of time watching videos about antique elevators the other day.

Best thing about wireless keyboards is the ability to move them when you walk away, thus preventing the cat from sending "Sdfgghjhffdrgkkfgj" to the scariest person in your contacts list.

As my cats wouldn't be caught dead using anything bought specifically for them, a cat perch is great for this.

That's awesome. Reminds me of the teacher in Perks of Being a Wallflower. ❀️

Any excuse to roll out my favourite meme from the noughties...

Good choice. I read this 20 years ago and couldn't shut up about it for months. Definitely should be on my reread list.

I miss the Enquirer and the days when conspiracy theorists trafficked in Bat Boy instead of "vaccine skepticism" and harassing school shooting victims.

I once stole a VHS training video demonstrating how to make buttered toast from the Denny's I worked at because I thought it was hilarious.

I apologize to anyone who has had subpar toast at my local Denny's. Maybe I'll drop off this recipe as a gesture.

I actually originally edited it out, then in, then out again.

But, you're right. Thanks for the encouragement!

I’m working on a project with time travel as the central theme. I’ve been told not to do this because of all the messy paradoxes and general plot holes.

Counter point: With the state of the world being what it is, I’m pretty sure it’s all plot holes, paradox, and logic leaps from here on out.
