It’s a balmy 18 degrees outside. Just shoveled 3” of snow off my car & my driver’s side door is frozen shut. New England needs to come get its weather & take it home. ❄️

‘Sexually explicit’ books to be restricted by library board in King William The library’s board of trustees voted 3-1 in favor of a “child protection policy” at its meeting on Oct. 21.

This public library was taken over by Library Systems & Services, a private firm that goes in to ruin public libraries, so this change isn't a surprise.

That said, if you're in King William, Virginia, there's a nice lawsuit waiting here.

Yes, but….not in a vacuum. We need the corresponding infrastructure (schools, fire/EMS, Hospitals, transportation, etc.) strengthened to support the increase in our population.

Taxpayers spent millions to train diplomats in critical skills and key languages like Chinese, Arabic, and Russian. Then the State Department fired 250 of them. How's that for "strategic?"

From the data we've collected from fired State employees, here's what was lost on 7/11:

—20 Chinese speakers
—17 Russian/Ukrainian speakers
—14 Arabic speakers
—4 Farsi speakers
—4 Korean speakers
And that’s only a partial list.
At a time of shifting alliances, we've traded expertise for chaos.
