Retired software engineer interested in C++, embedded / robotic systems, and general hacking. Trying to catch up on C++20 / 23 capabilities, speak at conferences, and write about them. Unfortunately in Texas north of Houston. It wasn't bad for awhile.

Ah, it's only an hour difference: EST vs CST
He realized he didn't get any of the grift. That really upset him.

I'm equally disturbed by the military following his orders, which are likely illegal. Doesn't JAG vet orders for legality?
See, there is a good use for AI.
I'm technical enough to know it probably is about selling stuff, but I realize it could have something to do with toilets.
The best part is that it gives the new P/VP a shot at 10 years in office.
A Dem Congress can block any real turkey but probably can't block it entirely. They can impeach JD first leaving VP open then impeach T which would move the now Dem Speaker into the P slot. They'd nominate a Dem VP for approval by Congress. To really own the situation put Harris/Walz in place.
Folks, the Speaker doesn't automatically become VP. That is for concurrent open P and VP offices. If JD becomes P then a VP is nominated. They are approved by a majority vote by both sides of Congress. This is how Nelson Rockefeller became VP under Ford. 1/
I boarded a plane at Houston Intercontinental to find George and Barabar Bush sitting in first class...and SS eyeballing everyone boarding.

My mother was the district cookie chair one year. We have cookies all over the house. Cookies, cookies everywhere but not a one to eat.
Why do lawyers always use their first initials?
If we showed you our programs, it would be Greek to you.
I believe it is 100 miles from any port of entry as well. So Houston's Intercontinental Airport, being a port of entry, extends the 'border' 100 miles beyond it. Dallas' airport should have a circle around it.
Today, there is a sense of hopelessness that wasn't there in the '70s. You can draw a line from Nixon through Gingrich, the Turtle, and Trump.
They weren't Canadian, they were British. The British were impressing US sailors into their navy and blockading US ships from France. York was burned, and an armory exploded. It wasn't a draw. The British gave up.
No agency, with the word "Homeland" in the title, has ever been good.

... with investors given treasury notes.
The government provides loans for medical training and forgives a portion of the debt each year that practitioners spend hands-on with patients. Moving into management reduces the forgiveness. Nurses and technicians receive higher levels of forgiveness.
... takes over the companies, sells what it can, and uses the remainder and employees to process claims. Laid-off employees receive golden handshakes. Alternatively, the companies are converted to not-for-profit entities.
All medical care facilities become not-for-profit...
I don't have the numbers to know if these ideas work, but here goes:
The investment in health insurance companies is a sunk cost. Investors expect a return on their investment, so the government issues special treasury notes to provide that return. The notes depreciate over time. The govt...
I see your daughter.
Isn't that what he would want to happen when MAGA tries to reenact 1/6?
Did she scream or faint?
They shouldn't be classified as terrorism. A new category covering mass murder or intent to commit it should be created. Terrorism gives a cachet they don't deserve.
Missing your latkes and the party.
My daughter, many years ago, was playing ice hockey near The Woodlands. She got hit in the face, requiring an ER visit. Two nurses and a doctor asked her to tell them "what really happened." They stopped asking when she told them she was from Buffalo.
The inline repeated pattern of operations are likely optimized by the compiler. It may inline the code for 'SetBit' avoiding the function call stack operations. The array address might be held in a register but in the loop needs to be retrieved each time. Look at the asm with Compiler Explorer.
