Super physical slugfest today - but it appears Iowa came out of this one healthy.

Terrific 4Q by the #Hawkeyes, started with a 15-2 run & outscored UM 24-6. Hannah had 0 pts in 1H, finished with 13. 4 finish in double figures.
#2 Iowa faces #1 UCLA in the #B1G Championship Game tomorrow - 1:15 PM CT on CBS. Huge challenge for UI.

Both teams with long scoring droughts - kind of ugly stuff. Scoring % way low. #Hawkeyes have way too many TOs. Game is there for the taking by either team at this point.
Sure makes you wonder.
2Q End: Iowa 28 - Michigan 22
Defensive battle has ensued - too many TOs by the #Hawkeyes - neither team is shooting "lights out" (not close) - 3s aren't raining so far either. Heiden is the only player on either team who has reached double figures.
Good game...
Just a quick observation - and this was true last night too - BTN is rarely showing replays of foul calls. Maybe under some kind of instructions from the #B1G? Don't know buts it's becoming patently obvious. And it's not helpful.

I guess I should have held off on the Vodka Rocks there. The #Hawkeyes improved to 25-5 (not 30-5). Not even sure what I was actually looking at other than my incorrect notes. Sorry about that. They do have the potential to get to 27-5 in Indianapolis - but that would involve beating UCLA.

Final score not indicative of how well the #Hawkeyes played & dominated tonight. Bench got sloppy the last 3 minutes or so as the starters rested, leading to 15-0 pt run by IL. Balanced scoring (4 in double figures); "team win"; 20 assists; PtsPaint.

It was a squeaker back on 2/26 at CHA - but tonight is being dominated by the #Hawkeyes. "Team" effort tonight is really paying off. Assists + PtsPaint are key so far. 3s not much of a factor in this one.

The #Hawkeyes have led the entire way - balanced scoring - Ava/Hannah strong, dominating PtsPaint - fun to watch Stremlow really coming into her own.

Very nice start for the #Hawkeyes who have led from the get-go. Heiden hot early and important that Hannah is back.
The #Hawkeyes drop to 20-10, 10-9. Michigan improves to 28-2, 18-1. Iowa concludes the regular season at Nebraska Sunday at 4 PM (FOX). UI has now lost 5 of its last 7 - and that loss on Saturday to a very mediocre Penn State team still hurts.

Great, exciting game. Valiant effort by the #Hawkeyes. Terrific D by UI - held UM 18 pts below its season average. RBs + FG% were Hawks issues. Significant PF/FT disparity favoring UM despite physical play by both teams - ultimately more than the final margin.
1H End: Iowa 30 - Michigan 30
Stirtz hits back-to-back 3s in the last minute and the 2 teams go into Halftime the way they started the game - all tied.
The #Hawkeyes D has been excellent and they have to be pleased with the way this game has unfolded thus far other than their poor FG%. TOs huge.
