Okay good that makes sense
Okay good that makes sense
did they forget how to draw brackets
Win @ Iowa and sit the starters against MSU out of disrespect
No they're right about the hash browns
thanks I was about to buy a USA hockey sweatshirt. saved me $70
Connor Hellebuyck with a Jim Craig-like performance
US vs USSR shots: 16-39
US vs Canada shots: 28-42
LETS
FUCKING
GOOOOOOOO
A thing about watching the Olympics I really like is how no one ever tells me to bet on anything
a skier yelling
a skier throwing his poles in anger
a devastated skier holding his head with both hands, a ski-rrender cobra
a skier lying down off to the side of the course and covering his face
Vermont-born Norwegian skier Atle Lie McGrath heads into the final run of the slalom with a massive half-second lead, but misses one of the first gates, hurls his poles as far as he can, and lies down off to the side of the course
riding a snowboard with your left foot forward:
Ah yes look at that completely normal, regular display of uniformity
riding a snowboard with your right foot forward:
Get a load of this goofy mother fucker
Love the hockey uniforms. They're almost 1980 throwbacks
I do not. Going old school radio tonight
I actually remember to watch Michigan and they're on fucking Peacock. Cool cool
"chaos" is what parity looks like to the old guard
that being said, feels like wisconsin played out of their minds and barely squeaked out a win
pretty terrible last couple of minutes from michigan there
that's a worse call than the goaltend
Tom Izzo getting a win AND being able to chew out a former player is the best possible night for him.
Paul Davis was ejected from the crowd by a ref and Izzo yelled at him like it was 2005.
gotta give myself credit for sticking with the BCS system for ranking teams tho
an 8 team college football playoff bracket comprised of classic bowl games
going through an old hard drive from 2009 and I found this gem. an idea I had for the "bowl championship playoffs"
how do I go back and tell myself it will happen and it won't be that great
all the retroactive "lol why did Michigan think they could get DeBoer" is so silly. no one knows that they couldn't have. Alabama is still alive and there's only one Lane Kiffin in this sport
Fox college football tweet: "I don't wanna make Notre Dame mad, but, be in a conference and you're in the playoffs." Joey McGuire shares his thoughts on the structure of the CFP.
I keep saying this but we have lost the plot so completely when it comes to the CFP
"the ACC should have said nice things about us"
"be in a conference and you're in"
None of this is supposed to matter!! It's just guys picking the "best" teams, right? Right?!
Michigan has had a lot of questionable men in its history, but it doesn't seem coincidental that its most successful run in modern times has overlapped with its most embroiled.
It feels like college football is a sport that has been designed in such a way that the most despicable people are usually the best at it.
are you fucking kidding me dude
hey coach there's this guy named Mel Tucker. ever heard of him?
are you fucking kidding me dude
the underlying sentiment here is ND thinks they could have got into the CFP if more people said nice things about them, which is not at all how the system should work
The only problem with the CFP that actually matters is the committee. We've been sold a system where a bunch of old men get together and pick the 12 best teams because Computer Bad. It's dumb and gets worse every year
So this is what the last 4 years has felt like huh
