A fabricated statement from Nintendo of America's Twitter account addressing a fictitious scenario in which the Earth's oxygen supply is presumed to be depleting at a rapid pace, leaving humanity with mere days to live. "This is Miyamoto. On behalf of everyone who is employed at Nintendo Co. LTD and its subsidiaries, we deeply mourn the countless human lives which will be lost due to the depletion of the global oxygen supply. To anyone who has ever played one of our games, we are eternally grateful to have created long-lasting fun and memories for you. To ease the suffering of families and children across the world, the Mario Kart World game for the Nintendo Switch 2 system will be available as a free download on Nintendo eShop for the foreseeable future. The statement is distastefully plastered with logos for Nintendo and Nintendo Switch 2, as well as with a render of Mario from Mario Kart World.

I have several long term concerns about things like Copilot, but it is interesting to see studies that show that, yes, on aggregate, there is some savings to them.
Honestly, from my limited use of Copilot so far, this seems about right.

Honestly, a lot of what I do anymore involves maintaining a nearly-decade old set of system tests, while the application is still under very active development (It's a pretty large project).
I've dabbled slightly in genAI and am about to dabble in some image processing for the project too.
I should really get back to blogging, but, like a lot of people, I have no idea what would be useful to write (or how much to write). Anyone have any #softwareTesting topics they'd be interested in that I might be able to write about?
Note I've mostly been in the Desktop testing world for a while.
