This year has been full of medical struggles, but also happiness, love and self confidence. Learning to be kinder to my body by recognising its limitations has been a healing journey. I have much to work on.

Every new year since coming out I paint a self portrait to reflect on my gender identity, my body and my experience within it. I was supposed to have finished this one last year but I never found the time, so here it is before I start the one for this year!
