A large tabby cat sitting on a piece of hardboard, looking up at the photographer.
There are various lines marked on the hardboard, which has holes cut in it, and has been cut in two.
There are various tools on the floor, and a marker pen by the cat's front right paw.

Screenshot of a LinkedIn post:

"It seems that younger generations struggle with analog clocks; we need to help them."

Below that a picture titled "commenting my code like"

The picture shows an analogue clock.
Instead of numbers at the hour positions, it has diagrams showing the clock hand positions for that hour.

Should be a legal requirement of *all* connected home tech.

We should have access to our own data to do with as we please.

A 3-panel Dilbert cartoon

1. Pointy-Haired-Boss (to Dilbert & Wally): MY LAPTOP COMPUTER IS LOCKED UP. CAN YOU HELP?

2. Dilbert (holding up & shaking something): REMEMBER YOU HAVE TO HOLD IT UPSIDE DOWN AND SHAKE IT TO REBOOT.

PHB: OH, THAT'S RIGHT.

3. Wally (to Dilbert): I WONDER IF HE'LL EVER REALIZE WE GAVE HIM AN "ETCH-A-SKETCH."

"students should not be required to memorise formulae and equations for assessment purposes. Students will continue to be expected to understand and use these formulae and equations"

But if you understand that speed is distance per unit time, then you know the formular implicitly anyhow?

My Grandad was seconded to Wales during the war, which meant my Dad spent his early school years in Welsh schools.

Dad used to say that the teacher got miffed when he got better results in his Welsh than the locals did!

A 2-panel cartoon
1, top: three daffodil bulbs, buried underground.
The leftmost is saying, "I can feel the warmth of the sun. I hear birdsong. Nature awakens! It's' time to sprout!".
The middle one looks suspicious;
The other looks inspired.

2, The daffodils have sprouted.
The sky is grey, it is raining hard, and they are bent over by the wind.
The middle one says, "IDIOT!"

... Our TV is essentially dumb now - we just use it as a display for a GoogleTV dongle, or plug-in a laptop, or whatever.

To me, "smart" adds NO value to a TV.
