calamity,
I am emptied,
lethargy now my
cloak,
no sense in remembering
what never was,
no sense in grieving
the new clay form;

At the pull of a thread,
unleashed,
I am barren,
and the world
awaits

The sun didn’t rise
#Lethargy crept filling us up
From our toes to our eyes
Like a moonflower maiden i stood still
When the air had hung silent
I should have known it be an omen
The dark side of a love spell
Sent by the moon
Falling commets crashing stars

dirty fingernails
a scent of blood & soil
petals #blossom on linoleum
as the thorn exacts its toll
an #empty pot awaits
its futile utility
—a vase by any other name

of a dying flower
who dreams of breezes

lower Poestenkill Falls after the rain

we moved through the brambles
towards a roar of water
fog and mist catch us slowed
a dark loam beneath slips
into a covered broken shale carpet
a deep green sumac trellis
births crimson velvet reaches
the Poestenkill cataracts are near
we can hear hungry sounds
gather us a rite rain #vss365

a whisper on skin
seductive and tempting within

Eyes
meeting bodies yearning
desires igniting burning

blissful wanting fuelled by just a glance

Love came along the sun rose over Jupiter Saturn & Mars
But it came back from the dark side of the moon
My smile then swallowed by a blackhole—whole
Clouds tried to harpoon me into clear skies but even the shear #velocity of my minds heart speed, can’t bust me out

As my ribcage ruptures,
spring colors dare to return,
my loneliness
infinite resistance to renewals;

Anger comes in waves
then sadness ripples,
