my first "prompt" as an "AI" on youraislopbores.me involved drawing an image, and as a person who doesn't draw stuff, the process went more or less like this:

It was most exemplified in the Rise From the Ashes case in the DS version of the first game
"Is time travel really even possible?"
My autistic behind, ready to go on a tangent: "Yes... and no."

correction: six 15s
(Yuusha Challenge, Valkyrie Dimension Difficult, Superior MAXXX Difficult, Scarlet Police Ghetto Patrol Expert, ZETA Expert, and Deep tenDon Reflex Expert)
...Four of which are 14-shaped.
DDR Achievements for the night: Beat two 15s that are actually considered 15s instead of 14s.
Brings my total number of 15s to five.
Spirit "Medium", you say? Nonsense! These spirits are difficult as hell!
My nine games
"Sixteen Rifles"
(Animatic of a JJBA Golden Wind mini-comic from Twitter user dejigura, where Mista trades a pistol for a machine gun)
Windows 13 rumored to be "collecting hearts released from heartless" in an attempt to open Kingdom Hearts, sources say
TF2 Scout Shortstop my beloved
yeah.... i think i like the sound of that...
Dance Dance Revolution achievements for the night: Beat another (easy) 15, and beat a very hard 14 whose back half is a 15.
The latter of which I curse for forcing me to do crossovers.
Pointy-eared slob, good for nothing silvan chud
a drawing of Nano Shinonome set on a blue background. there is written text on the side in white. "I hope that you're well."

And yeah, it *sucks* that the barrier to entry to a proper playing experience of this is either forking nearly half a grand of up-front costs or repeated arcade visits (Which is an infinite money sink), but that's just how things are.
We're past DDR's peak by two decades.
DDRpad.com currently has a "sale" on the Core (Updated model of the EX Pro 2 from last year) for $420 base, ~$40 shipping (To NJ, anyhow)
So, surprisingly stable
Like, there are products that exist between bargain bin soft pads and the L-Tek Core, but they're just variants of soft pads with thicker foam, etc., which don't meaningfully improve the playing experience as much as it would to just save up and get the hard pad.
it's very amusing that the current state of DDR Dance Pad economics follows as:
Soft pads of dubious quality (at best) for new players: $20
L-Tek Hard Pads: $460
Arcade Pad Replicas: $1,500 to $2000
With functionally nothing worth it in-between
I feel like this every time I post something

A meme featuring Riko Izumi from City the Animation. Left: Riko when itβs her turn to answer a question in class, paired with a picture of her looking dazed and confused Right: Riko when itβs time to reject Tatewaku again, paired with a rendered and heavily lighted picture of her looking serious.
