I can't emphasize enough that the idea of a Paramount-WB merger producing 30-40 movies a year is an absurd fiction. I loved it, too (and the sequel). Faye Dunaway was such a good villain. I was too young to see it in a theatre. I would rather watch the 1970’s classics be rereleased than 95% of the garbage out in the last decade.
