Inspectors General must be independent & nonpartisan. Reports say DOL IG Anthony D’Esposito plans to run for Congress. I asked if he’s running or doing campaign activity while serving as IG. He refused to answer. That is concerning given reports he put his mistress and fiancee’s daughter on payroll.

The Constitution is clear: Congress decides on war. When a president uses military force without authorization and Congress stays silent, they are abandoning their role as a co equal branch of government. War is the most serious power our government has. Shame on the U.S. Senate today.

I know one thing, before it's over people are going to get tired of me screaming about how if more of us would take advantage of early voting, a lot of what the GOP does to suppress votes on voting day wouldn't work.
