I am extending this award to single parents of any background or someone on low-income benefits.
These spaces depend on uptake for the paid participation. I offer one supported space per group workshop.
I support applications from women of colour and feel passionately about addressing the imbalances within our society. For this reason, one female or female identifying participant of colour will receive this course without financial contribution. As with the previous series of workshops.
Applying: Please send an email titled The Letting Go Workshop with a short explanation of your practice and why you would like to participate (max 300 words), 3 photographs, and your suggested payment contribution to
laura@laurahynd.com
Cost: £260
It is important to me that this workshop is accessible to those with financial difficulties and lower incomes, so have implemented a sliding scale for people in this situation. Please outline contribution within your application email (suggested: £180 // £220 // £260).
The sessions will be nurturing yet fast paced and intensive to allow for weekly shooting, group critiques and editing. You will be expected to present a small selection of your images each week.
During the programme, participants will be encouraged to explore themselves and their practice more deeply, and utilise their inner drive in a supportive environment.
This workshop is aimed at photographers who have a good understanding of their practice, but would like to push themselves further artistically and personally.
Stepping out of our comfort zone creatively enables a new foundation to work from in the future.
