In the richest country in the history of the world, we cannot abandon our teachers and our public schools.
Republicans want to slash Medicaid β a death sentence for thousands of Americans.Β Medicaid provides health care to more than 37 million kids, funding for 2/3 of seniors in nursing homes & is 40% of the revenue for community health centers.Β
We must EXPAND Medicaid, not cut it.
Our current health care system is not designed to provide quality care to all people.

In that sense, the system is working very well.
But it is not working for the average American.
We need Medicare for All.
In the 1970s, Alaska capped the number of commercial fishermen, in an effort to make the industry more profitable.

Donold is blaming a plane crash that killed 67 people on βDEIβ with zero evidence.
He is attempting to use racism to deflect from the fact it is HIS fault. He had just removed 100 FAA senior officials.
Itβs been 11 days and there are 67 bodies in the Potomac in Washington DC because of him.
Trump is an extremely dangerous man--stupid, vindictive, fixated on payback for his enemies. This country will be lucky to survive him.
Dozens of Jan. 6 defendants who received pardons from President Trump had past criminal convictions for charges including rape, manslaughter, domestic violence and drug trafficking.
Yes, this administration is dangerous and cruel, but they are also shockingly dim and incompetent.
Opportunities are everywhere.
Make everything as hard as possible. Resist every demand. Refuse entry without a warrant. Donβt take the buyout. Their problem solving skills are π
I believe Substack just did a huge endorsement of Musk. If you donβt follow Wil Wheaton, check his posts.
Call me crazy, but I always feel like the best revenge is doing the right thing. Particularly when it's the alternative to someone who has zero interest in doing what is right
I think Colombia backs down. But kinda hope they donβt. Just gonna leave these here as a reference
Thank you!
It's been one week. Every morning I wake up and discover that he has taken something else away from all of us -- including the dipshits who voted for him -- that keeps us safe. Every morning he's attacked another vulnerable group of innocent Americans.
Interesting. I may have to look at the framework Iβve been using for so long: Genesis
Nice space :) I used to love that keyboard.
Poster-like image of a Seward parking lot with an RV in it, and the cover of the book "Destination Alaska". Words on the image are: One woman's poignant journey of unexpected challenges and personal rediscovery.
I'm really surprised at how many KU reads this book is getting :)
