Sounds like Hamburger Helper. It's cute that they think they invented it, though.

Americans do not want this. They do not want another war in pursuit of regime change. They want relief from the affordability crisis. They want peace.
I'd like to hold out some hope that it will change ICE's tactics in the short run. Like "the fruit of the poisonous tree," the relief ordered ultimately defeats the purpose of these unconstitutional tactics ... they may be deterred from kidnaping people if they can't keep them detained in the end.
Socks! Fun to make and so cozy to wear.
Happy Colgate Day.
They know that this will cause enough chaos to create windows of opportunity where they can remove individuals in their custody in the short time between the issuance of a final administrative order and a circuit court's grant of a stay of removal pending judicial review.
Our national conversation about immigration never seems to be about expanding legal paths to residency by making visas more widely and easily available. Most of us are open to that, but our politicians only focus on harsh laws that often invite fraud, set off by "amnesties" some claim reward it.
Lag. The federal judiciary is catching up β this is a remarkable order, it's only three pages. I recommend reading it. I have, in all of my time practicing law, never seen a judge do anything like this:
I doubt the critics are knitters, as we don't tend to shit on each other for knitting. The "performance" of creating patterns and knitting hats takes thought, creativity, and more time than some people may realize.
I'd say it's because they've fallen out of love with anything connected to unapologetic transphobes like J.K Rowling.
The people of Minnesota have executed one of the most impressive civil resistance campaigns I can remember:
- Organized a city wide general strike
- Maintained nonviolent discipline amidst violence
- Mobilized 10,000s in subzero temps to protest and watch ICE
- Flipped public opinion against ICE
So Gunther there has never been to a PTA meeting? π
He was doing journalism, and he died because of it.
This would be an appropriate moment for organizations that protect reporters and photographers to point that out.
Photo of a sassy little white dog who is miffed over being denied treats and choosing to no longer play nice.
Pippa would like you to know that all the other moms let their dogs have as many treats as they want.
Reminder: All it would take to end the murder of American citizens by an untrained government goon squad is 16 Republicans in Congress voting with Dems to defund ICE (or 23 to impeach and remove Trump β 3 in House & 20 in Senate). Thatβs it. 23 Americans can vote for the public and end all of this.
If theyβre executing people in plain sight, what should we believe is going in the detention centers?
The ACLU has a Mobile Justice app that will automatically record video and send it to your local ACLU affiliate if you get attacked by ICE and they try to delete your video or steal your phone. Itβs now available in 17 states and Washington D.C.

"No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law"
It goes without saying that in the US youβre not supposed to have a masked secret police that snatches people off the streets without knowing if theyβve committed a crime. Thatβs about as basic a requirement for a democracy as exists.
So they can help protect children and families from being harassed, kidnaped, and worse? Sounds like pertinent information that also happens to be protected speech under the First Amendment.

What's the point in a city without this?
And here's a version with Mr. Rogers soothingly explaining the process, pronouncing "crayon" like a one-syllable word, as Pennsylvanians will.

I grew up in the town where Binney & Smith made Crayola crayons, and I'm pretty sure this is the same factory where my second grade class had an EPIC field trip in 1975. Perhaps the best day of school ever. I don't recall seeing the Sesame Street short--it looks like it was filmed in the early 80s?
There is nothing serious about head-to-toe sequins beyond seriously bad judgment.
Itβs a thing! Pike wasnβt my first goat sighting, either. Thereβs also Brownie on Rt 78 in NJ, who apparently has Facebook fans. www.facebook.com/groups/11016...
He must feel like I did that time my husband refused to believe that I saw a goat just chilling on a NJ Turnpike median . . .

Yuck.
