If you're struggling with your mental health and in the UK you can call the Samaritans on 116 123, and you don't need to be suicidal to do so. Left-leaning Non-Binary Cumbrian. Be nice or be blocked. I also block to protect my mental health.

Well that was another enjoyable night out!
- the local band "Dejected" worth seeing (and playing a free gig in the Carnegie Theatre, Workington on Friday 27th March, with other bands Clarity and Aphid)
- getting home at 03:53 was slightly later than planned and yeah...
I do not feel sober yet...
it absolutely was the latter :)
When you are sat in (a/arguably the world's best) pizza spot after more than a few beers, and you start to judge the other folk as being potentially inebriated, you may start to form the misapprehension that you are not drunk when in fact you are completely sozzled...
ah but he (I am assuming his gender) was arguably obsessed with his mother,
and - as a former neighbour who happens to be gay said:
*everyone loves tits"
-but he wasn't considering afab trans...
Farsi (a Persian "language" and a "French" word, meaning "of the tongue") is interesting as Farsi also uses Merci like the French do...
One downside of being a smoker is that it is a bit nipply out...
100% agree!
at least it is healthy Spinach, and not something less so...
No - but then I don't follow football (soccer) and assume it it related
- can I recommend Heavy Metal as an alternative fandom?...
(Sorry!)
Obviously in my world it is a pub night,
Cheers!
Urgh!
On balance, while today's lunch of Chicken Kyiv/Kiev with Fish Fingers, French Fries, Oregano, Salt n Vinegar was NOM!
- it may have been even better if I replaced the salt with a couple of slices of bacon.

DW, El Paรญs and EuroNews have got English language content btw.
Using google translate and non-english European news sites may help as well, but some of those are also politically or ideologically captured.
E.g. I sometimes have a browse of the website for
Le Monde
El Paรญs
ฮฮญฮฑ ฮฯฮฎฯฮท (New Crete (Greek))
etc..
There is also EuroNews and DW.
Oof, tricky...
I keep seeing ads for Ground News but I understand Johnny Harris' NewPress may have some merit to it in the near future also...
WarFronts on youtube (for war news - also has related channels) and fronts.co ( $5/month ) appears to try hard to be unbiased...
as for the BBC... ymmv...

A citrus / lemon I am attempting to grow from seed I had sown in 2024.
This Tomato has been overwintering in the house, and growing quite well now. Considering it was sown last year and spent most of its time outside neglected, before being taken into the blight infested greenhouse with some other tomato plants, and this was the only one to avoid blight so I brought it in the housr late last year to overwinter it.
Of the 10+ Olive Tree cuttings I took in 2024* this was the only one to survive, and when it finally showed evidence of rooting I brought it into the house to overwinter, and it is now definitely growing. * if memory serves.
I had hoped this pot would grow tomatoes from seeds I germinated in late december / early february, but this definitely does not appear to be the case. Next winter I need to try adding grow-lights.
Some plants definitely benefit being indoors throughout winter and early spring, these are some of mine, three of which I am very happy with, as I haven't a clue what I am doing and yet they are clearly growing.
I've not seen Alien: Romulus, but being a fan* of T1 & T2 I take that as a recommendation.
* I am assuming Terminator
Interestingly the second review I have read in the last twelve hours and quite at odds with the other, I guess this is going to polarise opinions!

In that case I'd be tempted to shoehorn some kinda RaspBerry Pi type device in there to give it a new life as a different form of system!
in relation to mine, it got dropped, prior to which it was working - so I strongly suspect alignment only!
NHS official pushed to add patient data to Palantir platform whilst also advising company
A lobbyist who worked directly for Peter Mandelson, on the Palantir board, and on the board of *four* NHS trusts.
Lobbying the NHS to hand over even more patient data to Palantir.
This absolutely stinks. Get Palantir out of the NHS. Sign my petition:

Track Zero sensor alignment?
(I have a Technics CD player with that specific issue I havent been able to resolve yet)
I think I need to invest in one of those electronic breathalyser things to do a more scientific appraisal of the situation.
On days off like today,
like today I sometimes wonder why I wake up feeling sober.
It surely cannot just be alcohol tolerance can it?
Unless you're born on February 29th!
