Different platform but on Twitch I tend to buy more months at once if it's a creator I like but don't manage to watch often (timezones). And for people I watch regularly I do monthly resubs because I can keep better track of my spending (gift subs, donos and stuff). Not sure if that helps.

For an on-going series, I prefer if plot is moved along. Now I don't mind 'down time' issues after, like, a great battle or something, but even then I like a little plot. Now I DO like team-up comics but I prefer if they are extra, like one-shots or something. But that's just my take.

Yes. I also play on console (and have like 4 or 5 playthroughs) and you get used to the controls. I would also suggest just taking your time, especially in combat, to study the battle field and options. The game really let you do a lot of different things to suit your play style and party.
Big fan of Studio Ghibli Art Of books (Spirited Away & Princess Mononoke especially). The Art of Finding Nemo is beautiful. The Art of Arcane book is brilliant. Not sure if this counts as an art book, but Dressing a Galaxy: The Costumes of Star Wars is amazing if you are into that kind of thing.
