I will never understand how anyone can withstand all those cameras in their face.

Problem is that with the exception of some SSRIs, many of the meds that may help come with such scary and difficult side effects that people (esp. men) won’t try them or stay on them. And the research shows that when it comes to MDD, meds don’t help 50% of patients. 😞
