Measuring roughly 1/4 inch long (.6 cm, about the size of a match head), with an oblong, oval shape, similar to a tiny, elongated ladybug, but yellow-green, with three distinct, dark, longitudinal stripes running down their back (the wing covers, or elytra) from the head to the tail. They also have a dark, vertical stripe in the center of their head and a dark spot on the plate just behind their head (the pronotum). Shown holding onto small greenery, against out of focus green background.

A light brown toad with a wide, dark brown stripe running down their side! They are covered with lots of tiny, spiky bumps! A row of larger spiky bumps runs from their parotoid gland down their side, forming a border between the light brown and dark brown colors! They also have large spiky bumps on their cheeks and forelegs and have a slight crest running from the tip of their nose and around their eyes, connecting to their parotoid gland!
Our friend the Campbell's Rainforest Toad lives in eastern Chiapas in Mexico, Guatemala, western Honduras, and the Maya Mountains of Belize! They look similar to the quite common Gulf Coast Toad, but unlike that toad they tend to keep to themselves! (photo by Jason Headley)

This is probably one of the coolest reptiles. The tentacled snake is an aquatic southeast Asia native. It uses its tentacles to sense prey.
White, kidney-shaped oysterling fungus (Crepidotus spec/variabilis) on a decaying branch. Its whiteness makes it stand out against its dark surroundings.
I loved finding this young oysterling (Crepidotus spec./variabilis), pure and white and kidney-shaped against the dark colours of decaying wood and branches surrounding it.
It's tiny, no more than 0.5 cm.
