OPM: Tunes-Based Time Machine – Ether Diver

It's an all retro edition of Other People's Music, with flashbacks to classic emo, a Nu-Metal revival, liquid DnB like the PS2 used to do, 80s alt pop/rock + the kind of oddball noise rock that made digging in the cutout bins so rewarding in the '90s

Yeah, definitely. I love my guitars and have too many but i buy them for aesthetic reasons and for the job i want that guitar to do.
I’m just a terrible gear hoarder in general, but i do then swap out everything for each new album so i force myself to work with less familiar gear to avoid repetition

Very much talking my language

That’s not to say i learnt nothing. I learnt huge amounts of techniques i was later able to use, but they were quite prescriptive, which made sense: they were creating session players. I didn’t want to be a session player

Exactly this, there is only personal preference and taste.
I went to the guitar institute and to an extent my opposition to all of that was the best thing i learnt there. I am always grateful for the fact i was already a fairly accomplished player with my own sound. Otherwise i may have been ruined.

Same with the twats who pretend there is a ‘correct’ pedal order.

Or maybe put it however the fuck you feel and make a sound that is yours!

Yeah same really. Love the sisters but never gor the mission. Or U2

saturated solace, by Tremosphere 10 track album

Since I genuinely loved last years @tremosphere.com album below, I wanted to go through their entire discography. And since it's no fun to do this alone, I asked @sylviasolanas.com to talk them through with me. Luckily she agreed!

So here we go: every Tremosphere song in order of release!
