If ‘Highlander’ and its quintessential craziness is your bag then might I recommend Neil Marshall’s ‘Doomsday’ (2008) which manages to mash up it with ‘Aliens’; ‘28 Days Later’; ‘Mad Max’ among others. Bonkers.

Not that is your fight necessarily @kehaar.bsky.social but someone needs to explain to me why ‘metacurrencies’ are ‘out of game’ any more than anything else in the ruleset (char stats, combat rules etc).

I loved Blake’s Seven too (Dr. Who, less so) but yes Robin of Sherwood was right up there.

I have distinct memories of it being the only show that could detain me from making my way to the long-running MERP game that we were all obsessed with at the time.

#Cyberpunk2077 is also a standout here. ‘Night City’ is a bombardment of neon advertising, screens blaring adverts, traditional posters and graffiti with innumerable personal logs and ‘loot’ to be discovered too.
