@fetterman.senate.gov You are a craven toady, and I canβt wait for you to get primaried. You swore an oath to the Constitution, and by todayβs vote, you spat on that oath. Shame on you. The blood of American service members is on your hands.
My senators and congresswoman will be hearing from me today. If youβre so inclined, donβt email β call. It carries more weight. If youβre squishy about talking on the phone, donβt worry β itβs the weekend, so youβll get their voicemail.
That might have been the best menβs hockey game Iβve ever seen.
Goddammit. Dan McQuade?
Rest in peace, my Philly brother.
A reminder that you donβt have to call them βfalse claims.β You can (and should) call them βlies.β
Because the world needed another opinion on the end of the Eagles' season.
When do pitchers and catchers report?
I forgot my briefcase, in case you're wondering how my reentry is going. Best of luck with yours!
For 2026, I resolve to continue resisting. I love my country and refuse to cede it to intolerant, small-hearted goons.

Alright, NYT Games, letβs do this.
Red Cross socks.
Yβall. If you donate blood now, the @americanredcross.bsky.social will give you a pair of socks!
Okay, seriously, how is today the final day of the fall semester?
The canceled TV show youβll never stop thinking about.

As the great Mike Schmidt once said, only in Philadelphia can players experience the joy of victory and the agony of reading about it in the next day's papers.
@fetterman.senate.gov, please tell your office to expect an angry phone call this afternoon. I know it won't do a damned thing, but maybe it'll make me feel a bit better. Who knows, maybe I'll ring @schumer.senate.gov, too.
Just finished listening to the audio version of this book, and it is delightful. Yes, it's an ode to letter writing and its various components and accoutrements -- fountain pens, stamps, envelopes, postcards, typewriters, paper, wax seals, and so on -- but it's also so much more. Highly recommended.
Two people discussing the dumbest headline you could ever imagine: "Did Women Ruin the Workplace?"
Oh, this is an easy one.
NO, YOU MORONS, THEY DID NOT.
Lazy, misogynistic tropes passing as hot takes, though? Lots more ruinous, to the workplace and everywhere else.
Can we have the mid-terms, like, tomorrow? Asking for a country.
Happy Public Radio Music Day! Celebrate by tuning in to @wxpnfm.bsky.social, the best damned music station in the country.
No kings, yβall. #NoKings
Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, showing up for #NoKings.
Not that anyone asked, but "The Life of a Showgirl" holds up quite well on second listen.
If my math is correct, Turner, Schwarber, and Harp are 2-for-21 in this series.
More like Dead October, amirite?
Awfully kind of the Phillies to all but ensure that the Dodgers will clinch the NLDS in Chavez Ravine, in front of their home crowd.
