USC quarterbacks have started a championship game four times; one of them played in a championship game twice. Darnold is the first to win it. USC quarterbacks are 13-21 in the playoffs. AND YET Sam Darnold now has only half as many playoff wins as the USC leader, Mark Sanchez.

The Seahawks ran for 75 yards. The defense gave up 27 points.

They basically needed all of Darnold's 346 yards and 3 TDs with no big mistakes and he did it. For this game, they won because of him, not just with him
