#AutoFire: LA County is sending Copter 22 to assist. Copter 4 and Helitanker 61 are on scene. Palisades Fire is now offering 1 type 1 copter and 1 Helco. A lot of slow traffic on Victoria Ave that needs to be shut down.

#AutoFire: The fire is moving towards Victoria Ave. Having a hard time finding available aircraft due to the Palisades Fire. Contacting LA County for any available Firehawk.

#AutoFire: Requesting 2 additional type 3 engines to respond to the River Ridge Golf Course area to prevent the fire from getting into some large mulch piles and a cinderblock building.

#AutoFire: The head of the fire will hit the golf course. Crews are dealing with a few spot fires. Now 5 acres.

#AutoFire: 1 acre fire in the river bottom near the 101 and Johnson. 2nd copter requested.

#OlivasFire: Good progress. Some resources being released. Final update.

#OlivasFire: 3-4 acres with a potential of 10. Fire is moving towards the beach. 2 copters making water drops.

Ventura/Oxnard: Fire in the river bottom between Gonzales and Olivas Park west of Victoria. 2 acres being pushed by the wind towards Harbor Blvd. Ordering 2 more engines and one type 3 strike team. This is the #OlivasFire.

#MainFire: Good progress being made. Units moving into a overhaul mode.

#MainFire: The wind has pushed the fire west into another lot. Fire is well established in a large metal structure with multiple explosions. Upgrading to a 2nd alarm structure fire.

Santa Paula: Small vegetation fire along the railroad tracks extending into two industrial yards with conex boxes and vehicles involved, being pushed by strong winds. 1400 block of E. Main St. This is the #MainFire.

From NWS LA: HEADS UP!!! A LIFE-THREATENING, DESTRUCTIVE, Widespread Windstorm is expected Tue afternoon-Weds morning across much of Ventura/LA Co. Areas not typically windy will be impacted. See graphic for areas of greatest concern. Stay indoors, away from windows, expect power outages.

#BurlingtonFire: Spread of the fire has been stopped.

#BurlingtonFire: Upgrading to a 1st alarm brush, no need for dozer or 2nd copter. Crews are letting the fire run west towards the sandbars in the river bottom.

Fillmore: 2-3 acre brush fire 500 yards south of Burlington St in the river bottom. Potential for spotting down wind. Requesting 5 additional engines for a total of 7, 2 hand crews and 1 copter. This is the #BurlingtonFire.

The NWS has issued a Particularly Dangerous Situation (PDS) for the upcoming Red Flag Warning and High Wind Warning. Wind gusts up to 60-80 mph with single digit humidity. Conditions will be favorable for extreme fire growth and behavior.

Update: Simi Valley: Upgraded to a 2nd alarm due to the fire threatening surrounding structures. Multiple explosions and power lines down. Crews are in a defensive mode.

Simi Valley: ME143 on scene of a 2 story home with smoke and fire showing, reports multiple explosions and possible drug house. Difficult access due to narrow streets. 6200 block of Junipero Street.
