Village Idiot
YouTube video by Clyde Wrenn - Topic
I love this recording. I was an infant in the world of recording music but I still insisted on calling the shots. I was also emotionally broken and on the verge of taking myself out. The song is too long but if youโre there for it, it speaks. youtu.be/EuveagAAUDU?...

Lemme take a moment to ramble about one of my books, Forgotten Gods.
It's urban fantasy, yes. I know, I know, folks tell me urban fantasy is dead. But honestly, I neither knew nor cared about that when I wrote this a while back. ๐งต

He gave it his all and it showed so well.
Cagney is a favorite of mine. He can play the hardcase, the sympathetic, the romantic, whatever he was asked. And he does it with gatdamn style.

There aren't many actors who could have sold that scene. Cagney was a step above most everyone in his field to me.
Normally, I'd shrug off the moralizing tone of an ending like that, but damn it, he made me buy it.
Absolute legend.

Cover for Lone Star on Outlaw Mountain, featuring lusty leading lady, Jessie, kissing a shirtless hunk while Ki chucks a shuriken into a dude's throat.
Just read: Lone Star on Outlaw Mountain.
A lot of traveling back and forth as filler, but okay action scenes and Jessie actually getting to propel the plot forward instead of being a damsel in distress was nice.
Average title in the series. Nothing too special.

Reminder: Cec Verrell should have been an honest-to-gawd movie star in the 1980s.

Cover of She Isn't Herself Tonight by Hailey Piper, art by Caroline Johnson, depicting a woman caught between neon lights, her face fracturing into reflections of itself. Beneath the title is a quote from Rachel Harrison calling the novel "Blissfully twisted and genuinely heartfelt."

It's Ultimate Fishing Simulator. Which is a game about a fishing dude.
Yup, still another photo from Ultimate Fishing Simulator, a game about a fishing man.
My current aesthetic is weird old dude who drinks whiskey and plays fishing video games on the most realistic difficulty level.

I will fully defend this movie to the end of the Earth and back.
It's awful. It's lovely. It's stupid. It's delightful. It's packed with Bigfeet. It could use more Kennedy. It has a perfect amount of Michelle Bauer.
You will love it.

The rule of diminishing returns applied with this second sequel, but Booth wisely put most of the focus on the villains, who stole the show, especially Wings. We almost had too many bad guys!
Vanity was a nice addition to the cast as well, though her love scenes with Dalton were a little chilly.
