Good thing about DDR shortage: this will trigger resources constrained engineering, and software engineers will think twice before malloc(). And maybe, they'll optimize existing code (or maybe not).
Hope you had a good time in Amsterdam 2026 ;-)
I don't come here often but man 2016 was Berlin?!
I was lucky again to speak at Cisco Live. What I enjoy in the show are hardware exhibitions and demos. This year we had a 64x800G switch powered by Silicon One G200 (51.2 Tbps) using direct liquid cooling technique

- what a perfect time to discuss QoS

What a week uh?!
I like conferences: 5h of sleep per night, 10h booth duty, healthy food & drinks, etc. At least I did not have jetlag in Paris.

Thug life.

It's 2025 in the silicon valley. Age of AI, quantum computing, code and... hotel showers from the 80s!
15Y @Cisco. I was just here for an internship π€·

So, do we need big GPUs or not?
Especially to run Doom.

Another week, another RFP:
"MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) work will be conducted by the selected vendor or consortium"
I guess it's official: we are now network plumbers π©βπ§πͺ
Always has been.

So, can the new NVIDIA stuff run Doom?
I spent my vacation doing my yearly IT technician shift in the family : whoever complains about @CiscoIOSXR upgrade time never dealt with Windows 11. It's taking forever!
Back into the trenches after a 2-week break. It hurts. For 2025 the plan remains the same: #pushdastuff
Plan for 2025: switch to the metric system ;-)
HNY Darren and enjoy your future rides.

Staging was done in Paris before shipping to customer.

From what I see here, I can tell you containerlab images are often (always) requested by customers whenever they need to certify a new @CiscoIOSXR release. You do a great job.
