The Street Medicine movement in the U.S. was founded by Black and Indigenous healthcare workers, but the street medic community is currently predominantly white in the Mid-Atlantic. This is due to racist barriers limiting BIPOC folks from accessing this training. Our Spring 2025 training will prioritize BIPOC individuals as a step toward repairing this harm and supporting Black & Indigenous sovereignty from the medical industrial complex.
