And if the unfortunate happens, the monopoly YT has on longform content, still, makes migration and rebuilding hard. Patreon, for example, isn't treated as a media site in the same way. More a place to deposit money for a creator to keep posting to YT. Patreon's been trying to change that but...ugh.
Am still blown away by the fact that YT has given their AI the power to just delete whole channels with no human oversight. It's breathtakingly stupid.
But the machines are so unbiased, how could this happen? 🙃
The Vitali & al. (2022) paper linked in the video description talks about it, but basically, amber doesn't hold a completely airtight seal over millions and millions of years, so the composition of the 'trapped' gases is not the same as when the amber formed.
