And if the unfortunate happens, the monopoly YT has on longform content, still, makes migration and rebuilding hard. Patreon, for example, isn't treated as a media site in the same way. More a place to deposit money for a creator to keep posting to YT. Patreon's been trying to change that but...ugh.

Am still blown away by the fact that YT has given their AI the power to just delete whole channels with no human oversight. It's breathtakingly stupid.

The Vitali & al. (2022) paper linked in the video description talks about it, but basically, amber doesn't hold a completely airtight seal over millions and millions of years, so the composition of the 'trapped' gases is not the same as when the amber formed.

Okayyy artist introduction time! Hey, my name's Tas and I'm an Australian palaeontology student and palaeoartist. I've been captivated by prehistory almost my whole life and trying to draw it for just as long! I mostly do digital, pencil and papercraft work but anything else is fun too!

In a world full of complicated problems and bad news, it's good to once in a while do something that's simply nice - such as draw dinosaurs and share them with others.

Miragaia and Kentrosaurus, approximately to scale with each other and the 180 cm tall human silhouette.
