I finally got a hoop into my helix piercing last night. I have some really cute earrings I got for it last year, but they have really thick posts and I haven't been able to tolerate one of those in it for very long. I used a really thin hoop this time.

We saw an SUV with THREE Shiba Inus at a stoplight and both Mom and I started squealing "Inuuuuu" at them. Their person was very sweet and funny and she picked one of them up for us to wave at. I've had two Shibas and they are such great dogs.

Dynamite is playing in the grocery store and makes my heart happy.

I've been carded twice today. 😂 The woman behind me in line at Lidl is definitely younger than I am, but she didn't get carded. Wear your sunscreen, kids. It really does help.

I may go ahead and scrub the bathroom in a bit since I'm already in grubby clothes and have a pair of gloves and a mask out.

I'm sitting on the floor in my gross cleaning clothes until the curtains are done and can go back up. I need to shower, but my bathroom opens directly into my bedroom and the windows.

It was sooooooo weird. I've never had anything like it happen before. It was scary AF.

I have such a love/hate relationship with this apartment and this is exactly why!!!! The swamp across the street is trying to take over.

I'm most concerned about my antique settee. The legs are covered in green. I'm guessing the material has mildew in it. I'm going to have to figure out how to clean it or if I even can.

My baseboards are ruined. I'll have to pry them off and toss them out. No really a big deal because they didn't look great to begin with and were just old leftovers my parents had in their garage.

I took the curtains down and put them in the sanitize wash. I scrubbed the windows with mildew remover and then sprayed them down again to let it dry on there. The bottle says to do that once a week.

I think the windows in my bedroom have a leak. It rained a ton today and I noticed a lot of water on the windows. There's a bunch of mildew. It is disgusting.

I found a decent deal and did the 0% APR pay in 4 to spread it out over this month and next. It should arrive on Monday.

I ordered a walking pad tonight after debating it for a few weeks. I live in a very walkable neighborhood, but it isn't safe to walk after dark without a dog. I generally have a lot anxious energy around 10 pm. Plus, it will be unbearably hot in a month during the days...

My mom and I would just live on a cruise ship like those retirees.

I'm loving the new e-reader. It has some really great features that will be helpful for me on migraine days. I was going to sell my Kindle, but they don't offer much for them and Mom doesn't have one, so I'm giving it to her. We're going to get it set up for her tomorrow.

It was 86° today. The low tomorrow night is 37°. The temperature is going to drop ten degrees in an hour tomorrow afternoon as the storms blow in.

Thank goodness for heating pads and breathing exercises.
