I read it was because “Department of Homeland Security reported that in 2022, 112 out of 295 Bhutanese visitors overstayed their visas, resulting in an overstay rate of approximately 38%. In 2023, 72 out of 371 visitors overstayed, indicating a rate of about 19%. Not a lot of visitors at all.
Texan here: It might not necessarily be all suppression (not doubting it!) but I do know that a lot of people are not reporting it by going to the hospital (again this is Texas…) so the stats could still be correct, we just don’t have the actuals.

Digital librarian here! From experience—— HOPEFULLY there is an untraceable server, not on a cloud. I make back ups of backups and I don’t care what anyone says, a physical hard drive has been known to save my life. They can be hidden, paper can be burned.
I haven’t seen much about this but the National Archivist was fired Friday. This is a big deal. If you don’t know everything they do, look it up. Electoral college, code of federal regulations, etc.. total retaliation. www.politico.com/news/2025/02...
