Very saddened to hear about Highguard. Knew it was inevitable, but I had a ton of fun with it and it’s going to go down as one of my top games of 2026.

Incredibly stupid.
A lot to unpack with Highguard an what went wrong. I do think immediately making up your mind about a game damages its potential, but there’s also a lot wrong with Highguard in an over-crowded genre that is competing for everyone’s attention.
