The fact that a Vtuber equivalent of Smash Bros regional power rankings propped up a day after I made this post validates me

The 1 thing that actually irks me is that I never seen the production team for in person Vtuber events get any love at all from the community or the talent (I wanna be proven wrong)

Meanwhile in the FGC production gets massive love and ppl still giving props to staff for events put on a decade ago

The convo about top players in Smash vs top players in the FGC getting in casuals really got me thinking 🤔

After observing and participating in the space for 5+ years is it out of pocket for me to say Vtuber circles have WAYYYY more things in common with Smash Bros circles than it does with the FGC?
