the council president for another county was asked if they were gaining financial compensation for this project and he threatened to sue them just for asking, and mistakenly admitted they were gaining financial benefits for the data center. not to mention it already got a $3M tax break.

adopted an ordinance to allow for data centers to be built in this one township, changed the zoning for a warehouse that was to be built. this site is within a FEDERAL RESERVE over a critical aquifer for the entire state. directly next to a campground, residential area, and elementary school.

they way my area’s county councils and commissions are being so sneaky regarding the data centers being built is starting to piss me off
