I can’t believe the library isn’t packed at all times. It’s quiet, you don’t have to pay if you want to sit there all day and work, and mine even sells cups of coffee for $1. Oh, and there’s a bazillion books you can just borrow for free. Come on, people. Support your local library.
It’s sudden and it can be painful. You become invested in the lives of strangers who share themselves and/or their gifts with you, and then they just vanish. You might be able to still follow along on other platforms if you were proactive, but it’s not the same.
Someone needs to write something about how the masses process the grief of losing one-sided connections on social media platforms. It sounds silly and naive, but a lot of us spent hundreds of hours following along with creators on Vine, Twitter, and TikTok, only to have those platforms killed off.

I don’t know. The people who are public about buying the return pallets (tiktok videos is where I’ve seen them) are big into reselling items, but often have to throw a lot of it away because it’s too damaged. It’s a very weird thing.
Usually a pallet is around $500-$600.

There are companies that sell pallets of unmarked Amazon returns for a flat fee, and people buy them sight unseen in the hopes there’s something really valuable in it.
