This has become more of a well-known fact now, but man the SEGA Saturn has so many awesome games that were never released on the system outside of Japan. Capcom fighters, Puyo Puyo, and so much more great stuff.

It’s so sad how much SEGA dropped the ball with Saturn in the west.

Celebrating Mar10 day by playing my very favorite in the series: Super Mario World!

This was the first 16-bit game I ever saw as a very young child, and I was completely enamored by the vibrant colors, charming art style, and this lovable new dinosaur character named Yoshi.

One thing I’ve always found to be odd ever since Super Smash Bros. Brawl: Why was Scrap Brain Zone chosen as a song for Sonic’s music?

Like, don’t get me wrong, it’s a great song and I’m glad it’s in Smash, but it’s just so incredibly unfitting for Green Hill (and by extension Windy Hill).

Happy 30th Anniversary to Super Mario RPG!

I’ll be completely honest: I normally don’t like turn-based RPG’s. Super Mario RPG has always been one of the very few exceptions though, and I absolutely love this game!

About 5 years ago I got this Sonic & Shadow fridge magnet with a marker that I can write/draw on. I was drawing various things on it for a while, and then one day I drew The Nanny and never changed it and it’s been so long I think it’s pretty much stuck like this now.

I started playing through the Zelda 1 second quest. I’ve never properly tried to play through this before, and it’s something I’ve been meaning to do for a long time.
Even though I knew this going in, it still throws me off when things aren’t where I remember them being. 😆

Happy 9th Anniversary to the Nintendo Switch and Zelda: Breath of the Wild!

If I look at things objectively and without all my nostalgia for the 16-bit era, the Switch could very well be the best game system ever made. Switch 2 has quite a tough act to follow.

I think Sonic CD might have my favorite visual design in the entire series, and the one I find to be the most aesthetically pleasing. I love how the environments look SO much in this game.
