I also think replying to other people is important. The more you chat to people the more you get to know each other and the more likely they are to chat back. But it doesn't just have to be shouting into the void, tell people their pets are cute or make terrible puns about weapons or whatever. π

Only two hours into my train journey and I've heard it roughly eight hundred times already.
I used to love being so polite to all those arseholes. I wasn't the manager but they'd get angrier and angrier and I'd get politer and politer. Only works in Britain I expect, but so satisfying.

I'm waiting for a train. I've had to pack two layers for the varying heat between now and 8pm and Suffolk and Manchester. Spring. π
I know people don't like ring, but I got one for my mum for this reason and then for myself. If you don't have the subscription then it doesn't store stuff. But it does have live video of visitors. There's always the question of are they stealing your data, but that would be the same with any device
I would love one of the Roman fort at Burgh Castle to exist. There are some awesome pictures on site, but nothing beats a model.
