Had the pleasure of meeting The Coalition at a charity do once. They were surprisingly down to earth, and VERY funny
Inspired by @crowdatasci.bsky.social's tables of player AFL Fantasy Scores, I decided to create something similar for Player Ratings

why 38? Ensemble model type deal? Are you thinking about joining @squiggle.au modelling comp this year?
Brisbane atm
woah that is neat. is the backend loading the entire 1.3m dataset?
yeah it's pretty insufferable. Just annoyed it takes 6 clicks to block/mute instead of 1 or 2
neat! what platform are you using?
For my $0.02, I genuinely think a lot of coaches & support staff still would rather trust their own eyes, experience, & intuition, & don't feel that the location data would tell them anything new
(I also think the CD situation is intractable; they've no commercial reason to care about innovation)

Incredibly cursed image
thanks, got it. time for a blog revamp
The main problem seems to be that the header needs:
title: "My Blog Post"
format: hugo-md
where the qmd file to generate the closeread-html is
format:
closeread-html:
cr-section:
layout: overlay-right
can both formats be used the same time? seems to be either one or the other
can't get closeread-html and quarto to work on my blogdown hugo blog hosted on netlify. I have 1 quarto article working with hugo but can't get closeread to work. Is it time to switch everything over to quarto?
This kind of shit is an instant block. "resist" accounts are just incredibly insufferable
just using rstudio atm as it's pretty much the only IDE I use. will try vs code tonight
and reinstalled :(
I have a quarto doc. When I press "Render", it generates the intended .html in my directory. However it does not generate the preview and get the following error. bit confused at this error #rstats
The Fagan lays on its back, its belly baking in the hot sun, beating its legs trying to turn itself over, but it can't. Not without your help. But you're not helping. Why is that?
