I fell upon these 2 comic books not so long ago & they were both worth the investment. As you'll see, the artwork is amazing & the storyline is intriguing. Being both a mix of horror & crime, it is worth the read. Unfortunately, it currently only exists in French.

Even if "The Bilingual Edge" was published in 2007, it's not outdated for what concerns the main ideas of why, when & how to teach a child a 2nd language. Written by linguists who integrate research to support their argumentation, I highly recommend this book.

"Vinterland" (2019) is the 1st book in the independent series with detectives Juncker & Kristiansen who deal with a terror attack in Copenhagen. It's the 1st time that I read anything by the Danish duo & I'm impressed with how they switch between perspectives. Well worth the read!

And here it is, the final gigantic collection of the Chew series. I don't know how these authors managed to find all the crazy ideas that they did, but I truly loved this comic book series for all the weird and dark characters and happenings.
